Kick-off meeting of the Italian Network

On June 6, 2022, UniTrento hosted the inaugural event of Italy’s first Network of Core Facilities focused on Life Sciences.
The event brought together the eleven academic institutions involved in this initiative, which aims to foster positive synergies and increase the visibility of Core Facilities within the Italian research landscape.
Elisa Ferrando May, a distinguished Italian researcher based at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg, was the guest of honor. In 2017, she founded German BioImaging – Society for Microscopy and Image Analysis, which is part of the national network of Core Facilities focused on microscopy.
