The working group comprises NICo Core Facilities that specialize in omics analysis (e.g. genomics, transcriptomics, metagenomics) using NGS sequencing and other molecular techniques for nucleic acid analysis.
The group has conducted a survey of the equipment and applications available in the laboratories of the Institutes belonging to NICo, with the aim of creating a virtual catalogue of the services offered within the BBMRI.it infrastructure.
Through the HarmoNICo activity, funded by the PNRR, the Core Facilities co-developed and participated in interlaboratory tests that contributed to improving the quality and harmonization of transcriptomics services.
