Professional Roles and Evaluation Metrics for Core Facilities Personnel<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rapid and widespread evolution of technologies<\/strong> has driven the reorganization of research structures<\/strong>, leading to the creation of centralized technological platforms known as Core Facilities<\/strong>. These Facilities are designed to facilitate researchers\u2019 access with to complex instruments and technologies through the expertise and competence of highly specialized personnel.
However, this development has highlighted a gap in the regulatory framework<\/strong>: there is a lack of classifications for the innovative professional roles<\/strong> that have emerged to support this new research model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This group aims to identify, share, and discuss the essential characteristics of these new professional roles<\/strong> within Core Facilities. Based on this analysis, the group will work towards securing formal recognition of these roles<\/strong> within research institutions. This effort will serve as a foundation for developing an evaluation method of evaluation<\/strong> that reflects the evolving competencies<\/strong> required by an evolving research system.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
